Growing up in neighboring Currituck County, Jane always loved the pure beauty of Northeastern North Carolina. However, it was during visits to the Outer Banks with her grandmother that she fell in love with the beautiful sunrises over the ocean and she knew that one day she would make the beach her home.
After attending Campbell College, Jane moved to Elizabeth City and began working as a real estate secretary and then a paralegal. In 1987, Jane moved to Kitty Hawk with her family to facilitate the opening of a new business. In 1995, after 20 years of working in the legal field, she began looking for a job with more flexibility to allow her the time to become more involved in the lives of her two sons, Will and Zach, during their junior high and high school years. God blessed her with the wonderful opportunity to join Dave and Paul at Stormont & Co., and now, to co-own the business.
