In 1987, Paul opened his own company specializing in framing, siding and interior trim work. In January 1995, Paul joined Stormont & Company as a construction superintendent. Paul and his wife, April, were married in 1987 and have one son, Kyle, who was born in 1990. He is an active member of the Outer Banks Home Builders Association and Remodeler’s Council, having also served in the past on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Remodeler’s Council. Paul also served 9 years as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Paul’s hobbies include offshore fishing, golf, and going to hockey games with his son. "We become a team when we build your home. The process to build your dream home can take as little as 4-5 months, but it can also stretch to well over a year. Due to the amount of time you will spend working with and communicating with your builder, you need to feel comfortable with and trust the person you chose to work with. We know the process can be intimidating even to those who have built homes before. I strive to make the process a fun event, if we can not have a good time building your home, its time for me to find another line of work.” Paul
